Suggestion for Changes in Punishment Level-

• 1.For Rape Cases- The minimum punishment level for rape should be 25years of rigorous imprisonment and ration. For gang rape cases the minimun punishment level should be Death Penalty.
• 2.For Molestation Cases- the punishment level for molestation should be raised to 5 years of imprisonment. While the barbaric cases gang molestation that happened in Guwahati should be treated as attempt to Rape and the punishment level should be 25 years of rigorous imprisonment and ration.
• 3.For Eve Teasing- The quantum of punishment should be increased to 1 year for eve teasers. For 2nd time and third time offenders the punishment should be doubled each time.
•  4.There should be nation wide data base for convicted sexual offenders and they should be barred from govt jobs, govt subsidies , bank loans, any financial assistance, standing in elections for their whole life.  

             Suggestions for Re-habilitation of Victim-

• 1.The whole treatment cost of victim should be borne by govt and to be recovered from the rapiests on conviction.
• 2.The victim should be supported with adequate financil assistance to survive.
• 3.Scholarships should be provided for further study if she wants.
• 4.The victim should be promised of a govt job.

Suggestion for changes in System-

1.All sexual assult cases should be treated as priority in all courts.
2.There should be separate room with dedicated lady officers in each police station for resistering complains of women. The room should be fitted with CCTV camera.
3.Each police station should have lady officers.
4.There should be adequate representation of women across all decision making bodies of the nation. Reservation for women should be given in all jobs for their progressive empowerment.
5.Recruitment of conss in police should be stopped completely and ASIs should be recruited against them to improve the quality & sensitivity of police force.
