Five Year Target of Creating 1,000 Start ups in Odisha
The state government has set a five-year target of creating 1,000 start-ups in Odisha.
Under the Odisha Start-up Policy launched last year, we have the vision to create an enabling environment and supporting ecosystem that would facilitate start-ups in the state, said state micro, small and medium enterprises department secretary L.N. Gupta, during an interactive meet with start-ups hosted by the state yesterday.
At present, more than 200 start-ups work in the state in various incubators. The state also has more than 20 incubators. Over 125 of the state’s start-ups, incubators and mentors took part in the meet.
