<p>
This is basically a Brahmin village i am originally from, called Upeipur (a part of koro village). But a lots of different people live here ie. barber(Barika),astrologer(nayak),Khyatriya(Mohanty,Jena). Due to division by a market(saraswati chak) it got another name as Upeipur otherwise it is known as Koro .There is nothing myth about my village. It is just a small village having 30 house holds with 150 no of population. In starting point of my village there is a temple of lord Jagannath. The day of our village starts with a sound of Om Kara from this temple. There is a lot of festival we celebrate in this temple. The important meeting,conversation take place in the veranda of this temple.</p>

                         In middle of my village there is small pond all people take bath. This is our holy pond. We celibrate boita bandana,khudurkuni osa,mahalaya near it. On the right side of this there is a for funeral of all people of our village.</p>

                         In the end of my village ther is a temple of goddes Maa Biribar . In afternoon all children gather here and play different types of game. Here we celibrate Ram navami,Purnima,Sankranti and Many others.</p>

                         My village is a peace village having different of people respecting one aother. Due to small size everyone close to each other a bonding relation ship. Profession of our villagers are different due to variance. Migration has a lot of effect in our village now around 40 of people working outside our state so it is very difficult to see gathering but there is some festival Saraswati puja,Holi,Diwali all people gathers and celibrate the festival in one place. It is may be an ordinary village but still its an exception in this urbanian world. Love,prosperity,respect,kindness,devotion and simplisity is the main feature of my village.</p>
